Rabbit walks at home and in nature.

Rabbits are mobile, active animals, therefore, of course, at least once a day they need to be let out for a walk, for at least 1 hour, but in general, of course, the more, the better, if possible. During walks, you need to devote time to your pet, pick it up, stroke it, talk to it, indulge in sweets (a piece of carrot, an apple, etc.). If you put a rabbit in a cage and only feed it, then it will grow wild, they need your attention, care and affection. Of course, it’s better to let it go for a walk at the same time, then the rabbit gets used to the schedule, and will not demand all day, gnawing the cage, causing inconvenience to its owners, and it can hurt its own teeth on the iron bars of the cage.

Before letting the rabbit out for a walk at home, it is better to remove street shoes in the corridor so that the rabbit does not come into contact with it, since shoes can bring home a lot of diseases, worms, dirt, etc. Or do not let the rabbit out into the corridor. All paper items, newspapers, books, as well as plastic bags should be out of the reach of the rabbit. Home pots with plants should also be removed so that the rabbit cannot get to them, since many of them are poisonous to the rabbit, and the rabbit will dig out the pot with the earth, as they like to drip. Not all rabbits, but most of them can gnaw through the wires, mistaking them for tree branches, so before a walk it is better to remove them, block them, make them inaccessible to the rabbit.

Walks in nature with a rabbit should not be in the cold season, not in dampness, so as not to catch a rabbit. The best time of the year for walking is spring and summer. It is necessary to accustom to walks in nature gradually, first go out for a walk for ten minutes, the second day for twenty minutes, etc. A place for walking should be chosen where nothing and no one will scare the rabbit, away from the roads on a green lawn. You should not walk with a rabbit where they walk dogs. The best place for a walk in nature would be if you have a dacha, you can put an aviary there and the rabbit will be able to run freely, if there is no aviary, then only on a harness. The place for walking should not be in direct sunlight, as the rabbit can get heat stroke, it is better to choose a place in the shade. The lawn for walking should be chosen so that there are no plants poisonous to the rabbit, if there are any unfamiliar plants, then it is better not to arrange a place for walking there.

Before the first walk on the street, it is better to treat the bunny from fleas and ticks with a special agent, you can use drops at the withers, but you need to be careful not to overdose, for this it is better to consult with your breeder or veterinarian.
